Updated May 02, Standing atop the tourist strip at Cable Beach cable Broome in northern Western Australia, you can look across kilometres of white shoreline seafair sex into the sunset. More hardcore beach-lovers tear kilometres up the beach to find their own patch of beach, pristine shore. They might pass beach camps of nudists set up in the dunes north nudist the main tourist strip, brome sometimes startle tourists on a lumbering camel ride. But, change is in the air, and finding a compromise between the desires of tourists, locals, conservationists and traditional owners could prove broome difficult.
